Panchakarma

Panchakarma is a method of cleansing the body of all the unwanted waste after lubricating it. Panchakarma are 5 (five) in number; hence the term PANCHA (five) – KARMA (procedures). Panchakarma treatment is unique in the sense that it includes preventive, curative and promotive actions for various diseases.There are two concepts that govern Panchakarma and Ayurvedic treatment approaches - one: a disease is caused when there is an imbalance or excess amam (toxins) in the body, and two: a rejuvenation therapy is required to return the body to its equilibrium.

Swarna Prashna

Suvarna prashan is an ayurvedic medicine for children( 0- 16 years )mainly given to increase immunity, recurrent illness, concentration and memory recallness . Suvarnaprashan is given to children in morning daily/ on every pushya nakshatra for at least one year for excellent results.Improves immune system, physical strength and digestion power. Improves grasping and retention power and memory. Tones up skin and imparts fairer complexion. Protects children from illness that occur due to seasonal change.

Matra Basti

Matravasti or small enema is performed to normalise the deranged Vata In the digestive tract. It promotes strength and restores general well-being. It is also used as a preparation for other therapeutic enemas.Basti is one of the five procedures of panchakarma in Ayurveda. Classically, it is advocated in the diseases of vata. It is mainly of two types viz. asthapana and anuvasana.

Sutra Neti

Sutra neti is a nasal cleansing yoga exercise wherein the nasal area and outer respiratory regions are decongested with the help of soft thread. Initially, the soft thread is inserted through one nostril and tries to bring out through the mouth. The same process should be repeated with another nostril.In Ayurveda and Yoga, there are four types of neti kriya - Sutra (String), Jala (Water), Dugdha (Milk), and Ghrita (Ghee) Neti. Sutra is practiced with a string and the other three types of neti kriya are done with a neti-pot to deliver the liquid into the nostril.
